Supporting Change for Women in Transition

We were founded in March 2007 by a group of professionals working within the criminal justice system who recognized a pressing need for transitional living services tailored to women. These individuals saw firsthand the challenges faced by women with drug and alcohol addictions as they attempted to reintegrate into society, particularly after leaving treatment programs or incarceration. Determined to provide meaningful support, we came together to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between recovery and independence.

Our vision was to build a structured and supportive environment where women could rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. By addressing the specific needs of women 18 years and older, we created a pathway for recovery that combines safe housing, mentorship, and community resources. Today, People Investors stands as a testament to our dedication and foresight, helping countless women navigate the challenges of transition and embrace a brighter future.
